The word, QAI, is a shorter version of the word “Quilokirko”, which means literally “to throw a healthy circle.“

The term, SPIRITUAL VIOLENCE is a way of describing “those things and/or experiences that “do violence  to our spirit!”

The Institute for the Study of Spirital Violence

It is our finding that experiencing things “doing violence” to our spirit – is a normal part of the human experience.

Our studies also indicate that the current level of skill and ability to deal with this experience remains in what might be characterized as a a state of under-development.

The focus of our work on “spiritual violence” is on:
